Blocking isn't working

Marshmallow blocks apps through Apple's Screen Time system, so it needs Screen Time permission to do anything. Check iOS Settings → Screen Time, make sure Screen Time is on, then open Settings → Screen Time → Apps With Screen Time Access and confirm Marshmallow is allowed. Blocking also needs iOS 16 or later.

If permission is on and a block still doesn't apply, open Marshmallow, edit the block, and re-pick your apps — a fresh selection re-registers it with iOS.

I can't see which apps I picked

That is expected. Apple deliberately hides the names of the apps you select from the app that blocks them; Marshmallow only ever receives an anonymous token that iOS itself draws. Nobody, including us, can read your selection off your device.

Managing your subscription

Marshmallow Premium is billed through your Apple ID. To change plans or cancel, open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or tap Settings → Manage Subscription in the app. If you paid and Premium isn't showing, tap Settings → Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple ID you bought it with. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account and data

You can delete your account, and everything attached to it, from Settings in the app. If you can't sign in to do that, email us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and how long we keep it.

Something else

Write to hello@themarshmallow.app. Telling us your iOS version and what you were doing when it went wrong makes a fix much faster.
